Minutes of May 14, 2009
President Bob Dunlap call the meeting to
order at Marie Callender’s Restaurant
at 7p.m.
Eighteen members were present.
The president introduced the
J. D. Hansen and Margaret Smith of
Cottonwood and new proud owners ‘09
911CS.
Members were then asked to introduce themselves and their cars.
1.
TREASURER’S REPORT
A. Treasurer Pam Dunlap
reported:
1. Balance on hand is $3,281.63
2. Disbursements:
A. $50.00 for Poker winner Phred Degner
B. $105.00 Harvey Weidman for newsletter
3. Receipts:
A. $100.00 for advertising in newsletter
4. Comment:
Pam is working on Polo shirts with logo for the
Summer.

WEBSITE MANAGER’S REPORT
A. Webmaster Sharon Nani reported:
1. Website down for a week due to reformatted
PCA site caused
by their crash. It is
up and running now; however,
you might have to use
the “refresh” button.
2. The calendar will have a new look as required
by PCA
format.
3. There have been 153 visits to site.
B. Motion to list events for Shasta Region
unless PCA has a free
Calendar listing was made
by Duane Spencer made and seconded
by Art Tilles and carried.
3. TOURMEISTER’S REPORT
A.
President Dunlap announced the Tour, Sunday May 17 to Chico
And Corning. Meet at 9 a.m. at Oasis, leave at 9:30 a.m.
Hope to
have Chico and South members
join on the tour.
B.
Summer OvernightTours:
1.
Medford, OR July 11 & 12.
Holiday Inn Express, Central
Point,
541-423-1010. Porsche Club rates for
7/11 of $89.00.
Sunday will take us to
Grants Pass for early departure on jet
Boat ride on the Rogue River , $52.00 per
person which
includes a champagne
brunch. A possible wine tour in Grants
Pass and an extra night
there for those wanting extra time.

2. Yosemite Tour
September 13-15, 3 day excursion.
Day one
Via Hwy 89 to
Truckee, Best Western Tahoe-Truckee Inn
($125-140). Day two on Hwy 395 then over Tioga into the
Valley to Wawona Hotel
($190-211). Day three out El Portal
to Merced and
home. If interested call President
Dunlap or
Tourmeister Jerry Nystrom.

OLD BUSINESS
A. President Dunlap said he is still looking for
an Autocross Chair.
Please contact him if
willing to Chair and for orientation.

NEW BUSINESS
A. The Trinity Touring
Club has an Autocross planned for May 24 at
Shasta District
Fairgrounds. A flyer was passed out.

RAFFLE DRAWING
A. Gloves were won by Art Tilles
