PORSCHE CLUB OF AMERICA, SHASTA REGION

MINUTES OF JULY 10, 2008 MEETING

President Bob Dunlap called the meeting to order at Marie Callender’s

Restaurant at 6:57 p.m. with 19 members present (2 attended later).

Members were welcomed.   Mention was made of the recent fires and the importance of the information listed on the sign in sheets for emergency contact.  Member response for the Gleichweit’s in Shingletown just proved how great Porsche people are.  No introductions were made as there were no new members present.

             in the new year.

III.  COMMITTEE REPORTS

A  TOURS:  Bob Dunlap asked for last month’s Shasta Tour comments

which brought several  humorous  reports, retorts, car mal-

functions, etc.; however, a good time was had.   Tourmeister,

Jerry Nystrom, brought up several scenarios for this month’s tour

after a lack of participation for the Brooking,OR tour that was

cancelled.  He said because of the heat and the fires it might be

prudent to  put off the tour until Sat. July 19th and combine the

tour with the Spencer’s Pool Party of which  all  Shasta Region

members are invited.   He then suggested a drive up I-5 to Gilman

Rd. and some good curves before getting to the party  at Lakehead.

So, hold on to the appetizers and let’s tour.  Meet at 10 a.m. at

Oasis, leave at 10:30 a.m. Sat., July 19th
