Minutes of Mar 13,
2008 Meeting
President Bob Dunlap called the meeting to order at Marie Callender’s Restaurant at 7:07 P.M. There were 21 members present. Each introduced themselves and commented on their Porsche’s model and color.

Treasurer’s
Report
A. Treasurer Pam Dunlap reported
1. The balance amount currently on hand is $$2960.56
2. Invoices for Advertisers were sent out totaling $600
3. Regular subsidy of $140 was received by PCA National
4. A Membership rebate of $2/member total of $120 was received by PCA National

Sunday, March 16th is first tour of the season. The Doug Rich Memorial Tour. Meeting at 9:00 Am at Oasis Auto Repair on
2. There will be a total of 8 tours, next one on April 13th. Since the May and June tour dates fell on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day respectably, It was agreed by general consensus that these two months, the tours would be one week later on May 18th and June 22nd.
3. Dave Furtado offered to be in charge of the July tour, looking into inviting the Southern Oregon Porsche club to join us in a Meet and Greet tour

August tour is scheduled to tour around Mt Shasta, the old ski bowl,
ending at Lillies for lunch, and Sept is our overnighter at
5. A discussion was held on whether members should contribute to the Tour Poker Run Pot / with winner take All, instead of having the club supply the winner gift. General consensus agreed that “as long as the club can financially afford to contribute the winner gift – it will remain as a club paid winner gift.”
IV. Old Business
A. The Napa Porsche Race Car and Wine Tour scheduled for Monday Sept. 15 and 16th. (note: some choose to leave on Sunday, Sept. 14th and extended their room reservation) Tour Limit of 12 cars has been met, with a possible space for 1 more car since one of the participants is only going to drive part way and not extend into the weekday activities that were limited in space.
B. Dave
Furtado announced that it has been too cold and too much snow to proceed on the
barbeque pit for the Santa Maria
C. Tax IEN number for a tax exempt organization is still in the works because IRS is behind in the paper work. There will be no late penalties.
V. New Business
A. 30 year decals were offered to those members who did not receive them at the Feb meeting.
B. Parade 2008 registration was extended 3 days.
VI. FYI Announcements
A. Duane Spencer announced that the Porsche 356
West Coast Holiday is June 15-16-17th at
B. Duane Spencer also announced that Lakehead will be sponsoring its first Classic Car Show on Sat Sept 26th. 100 cars 1970 and older are invited. There will be a pancake breakfast.

D. A drawing was held to close the meeting. Numbers from the ‘sign up meeting sheet’ are entered into the drawing. And guess what!!! This time Russ Duclos won the Porsche Dust brusher --- Lucky Family or WHAT???
The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 P.M.
