Welcome to a new year in Shasta Region!  What a great 2004 we had!  We started our year with the induction of Duane Spencer into the Zone 7 "Wall of Fame" in January, and continued with monthly dinner meetings and/or activities through the end of the year. 

Jerry Nystrom lived up to his reputation and cleverly planned 8 tours from March to October.  Only one was rained out, but that detail was just out of Jerry's hands!  One of our tours took us to Oroville where we descended upon Harvey and Sue Wiedman and a great walk-through of their famous business—Wiedman's Wheels.  Our July tour was a two-day event that brought us from Redding's 105 degrees to 67 degrees in Trinidad on California's north coast.  We had a great time shopping, socializing, and especially—driving!  Our second technical event of the year followed a shortened dinner meeting and was held at Oasis Auto Repair.  Steve Lowery did a great job at answering all our questions and explaining how our wonderful machines work. 

One of the most rewarding events of the year was our support of the Foster Children's Christmas Carnival in December.  Ruth and Russ Duclos helped us make the holiday season just a little more special for about 300 very special kids.
