How my love affair began in 1958 with the "little Porsche

356" was when I drove one in the Coalinga hills and the Coast range.  I scared the ***** out of the car's owner, but, boy did I have fun.  Then another love affair began which has lasted 47 years with my wife, but that original one was never forgotten.  I couldn't wait to get the newest Road and Track and read it cover to cover looking for info on racing articles on the Porsche.  Finally about 8 years ago, we found a 1986 911 Targa that needed love and care and then 2 years later we went to Napa on a lark and found a beautiful 1965 356SC in great condition and brought the Blue Boy home.  Found our '03 Boxster in Redding 3 yrs. ago.  We have participated in West Coast 356 Holidays and several Parades.  Have met wonderful and helpful Porsche owners at region meetings and larger events--which only makes the Porsche experience better.
