Treasurer’s Report

 

Don’t believe a word the president writes!  He hasn’t balanced a checkbook for 14 years.  But, thanks to him, we received our charity subsidy for $350.00 for our charity event, the Foster Children’s Christmas Party.  After paying expenses, we had $80.00 left to donate to The Good News Rescue Mission.  Our checkbook balance is now $3,104.78.

Trivia Tidbits:   from Bob Dunlap’s  file

The Porsche crest is essentially the coat of arms of the city of Stuttgart, which was built on the site of a stud farm—hence the horse.  The antlers and red-and-black stripes are part of the arms of the Kingdom of Wurttemberg.
