Treasurer’s Report
Don’t believe a word the president writes! He hasn’t balanced a checkbook for 14 years. But, thanks to him, we received our charity subsidy for $350.00 for our charity event, the Foster Children’s Christmas Party. After paying expenses, we had $80.00 left to donate to The Good News Rescue Mission. Our checkbook balance is now $3,104.78. See you in February! In the mean time, Keep the $hiny $ide up! Pam

Trivia Tidbits: from Bob Dunlap’s file The Porsche crest is essentially the coat of arms of the city of Stuttgart, which was built on the site of a stud farm—hence the horse. The antlers and red-and-black stripes are part of the arms of the Kingdom of Wurttemberg.
(My .02 Ed) Enzo Ferrari also borrowed the same Stuttgart prancing horse from a WW1 pilot for his hood emblem. Ferry Porsche |
