mit der docent.  Ve vere just in time to catch der guided tour, so ve filed through der turnstilen und into der inner chambers of der museum.  Der guide vaz thorough—to say da least.  After der first 30 minuten hearing about der evolution of rubber tires, ve took a quick vote to see who vanted to take der self-guided tour.  47 hands vent up in der air und ve vere off—all six of us.  Ve saw some spectacular autos from der late 1800’s right up until der 1990’s.  Der Ranson Vebster gallery had several rare collectables, including a Porsche 356 vhich vaz prominently displayed next to a plastique Chevrolet.  All-in-all, it vaz a very memorable collection dat vould be vorth a return trip to see again.  Anoderr cracken of der whippen und vee vere saddled up again und headed for der surprise Porsche event.  Ve vorked our vay through der back roads und side strassas of der ousenskirtten of Reno, und ended up in front of an obscure vhite building mit der logo “RWW” on der front vindow.  Ve vere invited inside und greeted by our host, Heir Ranson Vebster.  Directly in front of us vaz a 1960 Porsche Abarth Carrera vhich vaz being prepped for an upcoming race at Infineon Racevay.  To our right vaz a 914 GT vhich vaz up on der rack, und to der left vaz a Porsche Cayenne, vhich vaz being stored in der facility.  Ve could tell right avay it vaz going to be fabulous experience.  Mr. Vebster told of his early history mit Porsche cars und his love for der marque.  Ve vere then treated to a touren of der collection.  Vhile I couldn’t begin to identify each of der 45 (or so) cars in his collection, dere vere some obvious ous-standers.  A pristine Guards Red 959 caught my eye lurking just behind der silber Carrera GT.  None of der 959’s made vaz legal for street use vhen first sold but this one has been “federalized” und is road-legal!  Dere vaz an example of a Carrera Speedster from every year dey vere made, und several varieties of 911’s, each mit its own unique history.  Dere vaz a 904, 906, a couple of 908’s und der list just goes on from dere.  Heir Vebster vaz a gracious host und ve very much appreciate him allowing us a glimpse at some of der finest und rarest Porsches in der veld.  Join us for der next touren to see more Porsche eye candy!
