May 10, 2007

 

 

      President Bob started the meeting at 7:28PM.  Pam, our treasurer, reported that we have $3,639.47 in our account.  All bills were paid.  Dale and Gail were back for the summer and discussed the tour to Reno on May 18th returning the 19th.  The route over to Reno will be via Oroville to include some Chico/Oroville members.  Reno PCA members will be at the Porsche dealership for a gathering and Shasta Region will meet them there.  After the dealership visit, on to the Porsche surprise.

 

    Joe Wong has offered his hanger to be the end location for the June tour.  It will be June 24th.  If you attended last time you know how much fun it was and if you missed  it last time make an effort to attend this time.

  

    Duane reported on the schedule for the Vintage races at Thunderhill.  No decision was made about attending.

 

     Bob Dunlap, the pres, opened a discussion about incorporating the Region.  Most region's are incorporated.  It would give the members and officers some protection in the event of a lawsuit.  Bob will look into it and report back.

 

    Orders were taken for new shirts.  Russ will get them ordered and have available at the next meeting. 

 

   The turnout for the meeting was a record breaker.  Lots of conversation and good comments around the table.  Meeting adjourned at 8:05PM.
