Fellow Porsche Enthusiasts,

What a wonderful job Harvey and Sue Weidman did with the February newsletter!

Thanks to Ed Barnett for his great article and candid admission of his affliction with CPS.  If you have a few paragraphs of information about your own Porsche afflictions, please jot them down and send a copy to our Editors.

Tour season is so close I can almost taste it!  With good weather predicted, we should see the first of our tours kick off with our annual Doug Rich Memorial Tour on 11 March.  Jerry “The Tourmeister” Nystrom promises a few new twists to the traditional first tour of the year.

Dale and Gail Gleichweit are coordinating an exciting overnight tour to Reno on the 19th and 20th of May.  They are currently researching the best place to stay on Saturday night, and all of the points of interest, including the National Auto Museum.  A special Porsche surprise event will also be on the agenda.  More details will be forthcoming, including routes, times, and hotel arrangements, so check your plugs, points, and dwell and stay “tuned” for more information.

In the mean time, take off those car covers, shake them out, fold, and put them on the shelf.  Check your battery fluid, oil level and tire pressure and make sure your best friend is ready for tour season—check your Porsche too!

See you on the road!

Bob
