SHASTA REGION PORSCHE CLUB

FEBRUARY 8TH, 2007

 

President Bob Dunlap opened the meeting at 7:10PM.  There were 10 members present .  Minutes were approved.  Bob said Will and Kathy Thompson are in Southern Cal on business and Sue and Harvey Weidman will be grandparents again tomorrow (that's the 9^th of February). 

 

Pam Dunlap, treasurer, reported that we have $3,288.10 in our account.  The ad bills are out and one has paid.  The excess money from National for charity causes in the amount of $80.00 was sent to good will mission.

Phred Degner our web master said the site was doing fine.  If you Google Porsche Club of America-Zone 7- Shasta Region you can access the site.  It's great-give it a try.  The newsletter will be sent to all regions and zone reps. 

 

Jerry Nystrom tour master said our first tour will be in March.  It will the Doug Rich tour. Tours for '07 will be the weekend following our monthly meeting except for May and June.  Look for the schedule in this newsletter.

 

President Bob reported on the Christmas carnival for the kids.  Jerry and Ellie Nystrom helped out along with Pam Dunlap.  It went off well and the kids enjoyed it. 

 

President reported that he made a presentation of a framed picture to Chuck Reed of Oasis Auto with our line of cars for one of the monthly tours.  Pam's sister did a little air brushing of the picture to include trees, etc.

 

President Bob read the names of new members.  Our region is holding with more than 60 members.
