April 12, 2007

 

 

  The meeting was called to order by President Bob Dunlap at 7:17PM.  Bob called for the treasurers report.  Pam Dunlap treasurer, reported we have $3,667.92 in the bank with one outstanding bill of $50 for the poker run winner.

 

   Phred Degner, webmaster, reported that all is in good shape on our website. Pictures of the last tour have  been posted.  Take a tour of the site.  It has a lot of information about the region.

 

  Jerry Nystrom, tourmaster, said last month's tour was well received. The tour to Reno in May was discussed.  The date is Saturday the 19th with an overnight and returning on Sunday the 20th.  The route will be through Chico to pick up some more members and then a pleasant drive to Reno.  The Holiday Inn in Reno will the hotel of choice.  There will a surprise on this tour so make an effort to go.  Joe Wong has invited us back for a tour of his newest Porsches' at his hanger.  This tour will be June 24th and will be generously catered by one of Joes' restaurants at his hanger. A discussion was held about the length of our tours.  We will meet at 9:30 and leave promptly at 10:00.  Tours be approximately one and one-half hours.  The July tour will an overnight to Trinidad on Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th. 

 

  Old business:  Thunderhill schedule - vintage car race.  Duane will check schedule and report date.  Russ reported that our logo is available for new Polo shirts.  Will take orders for shirts and
